Dr. David Swart 

Dental Surgeon

With a wealth of experience and passion for what he does, you couldn’t be in better hands! After what felt like a clear calling, David began his studies and qualified in 1996 at Stellenbosch University.

For over 25 years David has been based in Kloof. He’s recently celebrated a milestone of owning his own Practice for 21 years - there are still patients right from the beginning still speaking his praises.

David has pursued his love of education and has a special interest in dental implants. This is a surgical procedure where a device is placed within your jaw to serve as the root/s for missing teeth. This provides support for artificial teeth giving you the gift of being able to chew again!

Out of the office, David is either spending time with his equally talented wife and children or making use of every minute of every day to stay fit and strong, setting aside training programmes for swimming, running and cycling. 

Dr. Roy Agar

Dental Surgeon

With over 40 years of experience, Roy has recently joined David Swart Dentistry in Kloof. After graduating from The University of Witwatersrand he served in the National Defence Force in Pretoria. Roy then worked in London for a few years and went on to own his own successful Practice in Musgrave, Durban.

There has been an incredible following of his patients from Musgrave to Kloof which speaks to how trusted he is.

Roy has a passion for building confidence in his patients by helping them to realise their perfect smile. He feels that great, affordable results can be achieved through cosmetic dentistry.

As a natural sportsman, Roy’s own smile is widest when he’s on the golf course. Roy has two adult children, one an Accountant in the UK and the other a Manager of clinical drug trials for a Multi-National Company. Roy is married to Deidre Agar, our resident Oral Hygienist.
